RETURN & REFUND POLICY

1. ORDER CONFIRMATION & POLICY AGREEMENT

By placing an order with Élan North Boutique, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to this Return & Refund Policy.

By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that:

  • You have reviewed and accepted our return conditions and timeframes

  • You agree to follow the return procedures outlined below

  • In the event of a dispute or chargeback, this policy and all related order records may be used as supporting evidence

2. RETURNS

If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, you may request a return within 30 days of delivery, provided that the item meets our return conditions.

3. RETURN ELIGIBILITY

To qualify for a return, items must meet the following criteria:

  • Must be unused, unworn, and unwashed

  • Must be returned in original condition and packaging

  • Must show no signs of damage, wear, or misuse

  • Only standard inspection and handling are permitted

Please note:

  • Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer

  • We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions

Once your return is received and inspected, it will be processed within 7 business days.

4. HOW TO INITIATE A RETURN

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Email us at info@elannorthboutique.com within 30 days of delivery

  2. Include the following information:

    • Order number

    • Reason for return

    • Photos (if the item is damaged or defective)

    • Your full name and shipping address

  3. Wait for our return instructions before sending the item

Important:

  • Do not send items back without prior approval

  • Unauthorized returns may be declined

  • We strongly recommend using a trackable shipping method and keeping proof of shipment

5. DAMAGED OR DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If your item arrives damaged or defective, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery at info@elannorthboutique.com.

Include:

  • Your order number

  • A clear description of the issue

  • Photos or a short video showing the defect

After review:

  • A replacement may be offered depending on availability

  • In some cases, a return may not be required

Replacement processing typically takes 7–14 business days.

6. LOST OR UNDELIVERED ORDERS

If your package is lost during transit:

  • Contact us with your order number and tracking details

  • We will assist you in investigating the issue with the carrier

If confirmed lost, we will arrange a replacement or refund.

If a package is:

  • Refused upon delivery

  • Unclaimed

  • Returned due to an incorrect address

A $35 CAD fee will be deducted from your refund to cover handling and logistics costs.

7. CANCELLATIONS & RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL

You have the right to cancel your order within 30 days of receiving your item, in accordance with applicable consumer protection laws.

However:

  • Orders cannot be canceled once they have been shipped

  • If already dispatched, you must follow the return process after delivery

Return shipping costs remain the responsibility of the customer.

 

8. CHARGEBACKS & DISPUTES

If you experience any issue with your order, please contact us first. We are committed to resolving all concerns quickly and fairly.

In the event of a chargeback or dispute, we may provide the following documentation to your payment provider:

  • Order confirmation

  • Tracking information

  • Communication records

  • Supporting images (if applicable)

Filing a chargeback without contacting us first may delay resolution and impact future purchasing eligibility.

9. IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Returns must be sent to our designated fulfillment center (location provided after approval)

  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs

  • We are not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers or customs

  • Items that are used, damaged, or not in original condition will not be accepted

  • For hygiene-related products, returns must meet strict cleanliness standards
